Custom Deck Design & Framing

Mixing the wrong metals causes fast corrosion, so we selectively use hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel connectors to prevent rust and failure.

Our Process at U Construction
Every successful project begins with clear communication and quality craftsmanship.
Step 1: contact us. Give us a call or fill out our online request form with your name, phone number, email, project location, and a brief description of what you're looking for. You can also upload photos and share your preferred date and time for an on-site consultation.
Step 2: Initial Conversation. We'll talk about your goals, answer your questions, and learn more about your vision.
Step 3 : On-site consultation. We visit your property to evaluate the project, discuss design options and budget, and gather the details needed for an accurate proposal.
Step 4: Professional estimate. We prepare a detailed written estimate tailored to your project. A $75 fee is required, and if you move forward, that $75 is credited toward your project cost.
Step 5: Proposal review and agreement. We'll review the estimate with you and answer questions. If you decide to move forward, we'll finalize the construction agreement.
Step 6: Payment schedule. Once the agreement is signed, an initial deposit is required to reserve your place on our schedule, begin planning, city permit and order materials. Payments are made at agreed-upon milestones as the project moves forward, with the remaining balance due upon substantial completion and final walk through, as outlined in your agreement. Because every project is unique, schedules and percentages may vary, but everything is detailed clearly up front.
Step 7 : Construction. Our team gets to work, keeps you informed, and focuses on craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Step 8: The final walk through. When your project is complete, we walk through it with you to ensure everything meets expectations. We're here to make your experience simple, professional, and stress free from the first call to the final walk through.
